I host my websites on SiteTide, which is owned by Sebastian and he owns myroot.pw which is where I hosted my websites before he moved everyone to the new business.
I've never had any downtime, and he's very open and helpful when I have any questions or get locked out from the control panel he uses, which is ApisCP and it's a little bit confusing.
It's also very affordable at €20 per year.
For VPS, I use Linode and OVH.
